Solidscape’s T612 Benchtop and T76 modelmaking systems combine a proprietary thermoplastic ink jetting technology and high-precision milling with the proprietary ModelWorks graphical front-end software to build prototype models or patterns that have an achievable accuracy of 0.001 in. (0.025mm) per inch in the X, Y, and Z dimensions and a completed model surface finish of 32 - 63 micro inches. The T612 Benchtop and T76 can build in slices, or layers, as small as 0.5 thousandths of an inch, an order of magnitude better than other rapid prototyping systems. These attributes make the T612 Benchtop and T76 the leaders in producing precision models and patterns for investment casting or plastic molding with little or no benchwork. With a slice thickness of 0.5 thousandths and the excellent surface finish, the need for lengthy benchwork associated with other modelmaking systems is eliminated.
Solidscape's has more than 2500 systems installed in over 20 countries around the world in diverse applications. Sales and support are conducted directly by Solidscape personnel and an established Reseller network.
