Solidscape Management Team

Solidscape's senior management team brings over 42 years of experience in the rapid prototyping and manufacturing industry, establishing Solidscape as the world market leader in high precision 3D printers for critical manufacturing applications: lost wax investment casting and mold making.

 

David Bothwell — President and CEO
Mr. Bothwell joined Solidscape in March 1998 and has a proven record of accomplishments in turn arounds and managing for growth in the computer peripheral industry.  Formerly, he was the President and CEO of Howtek, Inc., a manufacturer of digital scanners, graphic arts and medical imaging products.  Prior to that, he was President of the Serial Printer Group at DataProducts Corporation, a $150 million division manufacturing daisy, dot matrix and laser printers. 
Mr. Bothwell holds an MBA and two undergraduate degrees, one in Computer Science, the second in Business Management.

 

John Wigand — VP of Engineering
Mr. Wigand has been with Solidscape since 1994 when he co-founded the company. Prior to his role as VP of Engineering, he was the software director for the Model Maker program. Before joining Solidscape, Mr. Wigand worked at E-Systems designing military avionics and at Resource Consultants.
Mr. Wigand holds both a BS and an MS in Mechanical Engineering.

 

Fabio Esposito — VP Worldwide Sales & Marketing
Mr. Esposito joined Solidscape in 2007 from ISRA Vision Parsytec AG in Germany where he held the position of Vice President of the American subsidiary, after successfully developing and leading the business in Southern Europe.  Mr. Esposito began his career in Italy as a Management Consultant with Consorzio CONICA, a consortium of high-tech companies.
Mr. Esposito holds a BS and MS degree in Electronic Engineering and has an extensive background in managing sales of complex integrated software and technology solutions in process-oriented industries worldwide.

 

Zeke Harkleroad — VP of Operations
Mr. Harkleroad joined Solidscape in 2000. He has 30 years of experience in the printer, scanner and inkjet print-head industry having been the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering at Howtek, Inc., an image scanner manufacturer, the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering at Spectra, Inc., an inkjet print-head manufacturer, and the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering at DataProducts Corporation, a printer company where he led the manufacture of serial matrix, solid ink and thermal printers.
Mr. Harkleroad holds a BS in mechanical Engineering.
