Summary: Solidscape®, Inc. Announces D76 Waxup Printer for Small and Medium Size Dental Laboratories

MERRIMACK, NH, September 22, 2008 – Solidscape®, Inc., a leading provider of precision rapid pattern making systems, today announced the D76 Dental Waxup Printer.

Available immediately, the D76 will continue to use Solidscape’s InduraCast™ and InduraFill™ materials that provide outstanding casting yields, as well as its cost effective, extended-use build substrate called InduraBase™.

Mike Varanka, President of Solidscape, says “We have listened to the feedback from our target market. Our response is the D76, a more robust, higher performance waxup printer that maintains the accuracy and castability of Solidscape’s D66 system which it replaces. The D76 performance fits well within the parameters of our targeted dental lab market segment and addresses customer needs in the areas of pricing, higher speed, castability and surface finish flexibility. The D76 also improves ease of use with the addition of a touch-screen control panel and audiovisual help system.”

U.S. pricing for the D76 is $45,650 USD and includes a one-year warranty. Prices are FOB plant.
