As you are aware, Solidscape offers a Maintenance Service Agreement to help protect your investment in our products. The standard MSA provides you with coverage for a period of 12 months. It offers protection against unwanted downtime, as well as providing insurance for the usually untimely and always unexpected expense of self-maintenance. Some of the features of the Standard MSA are:

  • Unlimited phone technical support
  • All replacement spare parts (shipping included)
  • ModelWorks Software support and updates
  • All machine software updates
  • Engineering changes and upgrades (field applicable/user installable)
  • RTF (Return to Factory) for major repair
  • Optional on-site service

We are pleased to announce that we are expanding our service offerings by providing two new MSA Option Plans to help meet the needs of our users. These plans offer an excellent value in cost, service and flexibility. Both plans are offered as add-ons to the standard MSA for PatternMaster and T6X users.

MSA Renewal Package Option 1

Includes:

  • User PM (Preventative Maintenance) & Supplies Kit (890081) containing all supplies required for model setup and user maintenance:
    — Cutter brush, syringe, oil, paper tape, vacuum filters, etc,
  • All parts & supplies needed to perform the recommended annual user PM (which helps to prevent unwanted downtime due to normal wear and tear on the material delivery system).
    — Heated lines; Tank filters; O-Rings, Material replacement kit or BlueCast Conversion kit
  • Includes latest release of Solidscape's Software CD
  • Includes latest revisions of User's Guide, Techniques-At-A-Glance and Model Making Checklist

Payment Terms:
2 payments of 50% each; 1st upon renewal and 2nd at plus 90 days

Onsite PM Package Option 2

The Onsite PM Package 2 includes the Package 1 option and provides for an onsite Annual Preventative Maintenance to be performed on the unit by a Solidscape technician.

  • 2 - 3 days onsite
  • must be scheduled at least 21 days in advance
  • can occur within 60 days before or after contract renewal date providing initial payment has been received
  • Annual Preventative Maintenance performed
  • complete machine checkout and validation
  • User PM performed
  • Technician PM performed
  • all factory adjustments & calibrations performed
  • engineering field changes and hardware upgrades installed
  • all software upgrades and revisions installed
  • Proactive and pre-emptive remedial maintenance performed on unit
  • Parts replaced where necessary
  • Operator training / refresh will be conducted

This package is intended to prevent unwanted downtime and lost production. This Onsite PM Package will eliminate potential Return-To-Factory situation (minimum 2 week turnaround)

Payment Terms:
2 payments of 50% each; 1st upon renewal and 2nd at plus 90 days
